Local Discussion

Assalamu Alikoum All

We now have the government's response about this petition. Please visit the following link:

May Allah reward everybody who singed up the petition, amen.

Hello,

Although, I have attended a number of demonstrations against the repupetrations of the holocaust it is continually committing in Gaza. I really do not think the Norwich demonstrations will do anything, lets be very realistic!

If you really want to do anything, or have attended one of these demos, then can I please urge you to do something more positive and sign this petition for an Arms Embargo on Israel:

Our Muslim Heritage

Local Discussion

Prince Charles, Heir to the British Monarchy in a recent public speech at Oxford University stated:

"If there is much misunderstanding in the West about the nature of Islam, there is also much ignorance about the debt our own culture and civilisation owe to the Islamic world. It is a failure, which stems, I think, from the straight-jacket of history, which we have inherited. The medieval Islamic world, from central Asia to the shores of the Atlantic, was a world where scholars and men of learning flourished. But because we have tended to see Islam as the enemy of the West, as an alien culture, society, and system of belief, we have tended to ignore or erase its great relevance to our own history."

AS SALAAMU ALAYKUM, MAY PEACE BE WITH YOU

Following the success of the first ever Peace Camp in Norwich Forum last year in July, half the atrium of the Forum has been booked for Sunday 27th May 10am - 4pm to hold this year's Norwich Peace Camp Forum.

Nearly all last year's member organisations which represent the peace movement and other vital related causes and concerns, whether these originate from religion, belief, morality or conscience are taking part again along with some new ones.
